Who we share your data with
We use woo-commerce to power our online shop. In addition, we use PayPal and Stripe as our payment gateway to process your order. We do not retain your credit card details in our database but we are required to share your personal data including your credit card details with PayPal or Stripe (depending on which you avail of at checkout) to be able to process your order. By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this to enable you the selected currency remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that prices can convert to your (the visitor’s) locl currency.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records.
What rights you have over your data
Under GDPR Regulations, the customer has the right to request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
